Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to perform water and paper delivery around the KC site, assist other technicians, and maintain site safety training. You will learn various tasks, work safely with appropriate PPE, and contribute to efficient plant operations.

This role requires basic skills with hand and small power tools, simple plumbing and carpentry, and the ability to document results in the CMMS while communicating with coworkers and customer staff.

Qualifications

• Experience using hand tools and performing mechanical tasks.
• Ability to learn and perform multiple site tasks with varying priorities.
• Ability to meet safety requirements and follow PPE protocols.

Responsibilities

• Abides by OSHA safety guidelines and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Conducts shift rounds to monitor systems and equipment.
• Maintains, troubleshoots, and performs minor repairs on equipment with guidance from experienced techs.
• Documents work results in the CMMS and communicates status to stakeholders.
• May provide guidance to Sub-Contractors of facilities services.
• Supports non-customary schedules and weekend work.
