Job Summary
The Facilities Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on the facility equipment and property structures, in addition to performing ground maintenance including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting.

Duties / Responsibilities:

1. Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and painting repairs as necessary
2. Perform facilities cleaning as needed
3. Regularly check community spaces to identify issues with litter, mechanical issues, or breakdowns, repairs, cleaning, and patch work.
4. Implement preventative maintenance measures
5. Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies
6. Complete inspections of offices and warehouse regularly or as Facilities Manager request
7. Repair and troubleshoot systems and complete preventative maintenance
8. Plan, schedule, and track preventative maintenance
9. Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel, and follow safety protocol
10. Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
11. Maintain the cleanliness of outside spaces such as parking lots and sidewalks
12. Oversee the trash containers on the company premises
13. Available three times a week for Team Meetings with Facilities Manager
14. Required to perform maintenance in multiple locations
15. Perform other maintenance duties as requested
16. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Valid State Driver’s License
2. Reliable transportation
3. High School diploma or GED required
4. Minimum of 3 years working experience in a similar role
5. Experience with plumbing, drywall, painting
6. Must have electrical knowledge
7. Prior warehouse experience a plus
8. Ability to work with hardware tools and power equipment
9. Team player mind set required to work and support other departments
10. Able to follow detailed instructions
11. Detail oriented with an aptitude for problem solving
12. Available to work weekends and after hours as needed
13. Experienced in operating a variety of equipment, including lawn mowers and small hand tools
14. Effective written and oral communication skills
15. Able to work well with minimal supervision
16. Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures
