Job summary

Campus Living Villages in Natchitoches, LA is seeking a Village Maintenance Assistant to perform maintenance tasks across building systems, prepare units for occupancy, and help with custodial and curb-appeal duties. The role involves working under a Maintenance Supervisor with potential vendor coordination.

Minimum 2–4 years of maintenance experience, EPA/HVAC cert preferred; pool certification may be required; HS diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receives, completes, tracks, and documents outcomes of work orders or instructions from supervisor.
• Performs basic maintenance and repairs of building systems (plumbing and electrical).
• Maintains preventive maintenance of facilities and equipment.
• Maintains large equipment such as boilers, pumps, pools and HVAC.
• Replaces worn parts to maintain equipment.
• Prepares apartments for occupancy per make-ready protocols.
• Performs custodial tasks and supports curb-appeal upkeep.
• Assists other departments with moving furniture and unloading supplies.
• Assists in coordinating or supervising work by outside vendors.
