Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in Dallas, TX to operate, inspect, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across client facilities. You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to repair requests, and conduct inspections to ensure safe, functional environments where clients and teams thrive.

The role blends independent work with team collaboration, requires physical capability for lifting and climbing, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of hands-on building repair and maintenance experience.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds regularly.
• Safe work from heights and ladders up to 30 feet.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to repair work orders on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems and equipment.
• Conduct facility inspections and due diligence assessments to document conditions affecting operations.
• Complete interior maintenance tasks including fixtures, furniture, and doors.
• Maintain HVAC by cleaning coils, changing filters/belts for optimal performance.
• Replace lighting fixtures and ballasts across facilities.
