Job summary

Brookdale is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain the interior and exterior of community buildings and grounds. You will perform preventive and reactive maintenance on HVAC, elevators, fire and sprinkler systems, generators, and kitchen equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations and Brookdale policies.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with building systems, strong communication with residents and staff, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Maintenance technicians perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler systems, generators, landscape, kitchen equipment, and emergency pull cord equipment.
• Communicate effectively with community directors, residents, and local authorities such as fire marshals.
• Maintain compliance with current federal, state, and local regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on community buildings and grounds.
• Address maintenance requests from residents and staff in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with local authorities and ensure safety and compliance.
• Keep interior and exterior spaces in good condition per Brookdale standards.
