Job summary

BORJA ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION, Inc, a San Diego-based contractor, seeks a General Maintenance Worker to support private and public projects. The role covers diverse trades including painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical tasks in office and site facilities.

Responsibilities include replacing fixtures, patching walls, maintaining lighting and gutters, and assisting with material handling. Travel to project locations may be required.

Qualifications

• General maintenance skills across multiple trades.
• Ability to replace fixtures, outlets, switches, and perform minor repairs.
• Familiarity with painting, plumbing, carpentry tasks and basic electrical work.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings.
• Replace electrical receptacles, switches, fixtures; patch walls and ceilings.
• Maintain lighting, flooring, doors, rain gutters, and water coolers.</br>Travel to project locations as needed.
• Report to Facilities Trouble Desk and respond promptly to work orders.
• Assist with material movement and storage; complete tasks within set timelines.
