Job summary

Cheney Brothers, Inc. is seeking a facilities maintenance supervisor in Ocala, FL to coordinate and supervise building and equipment maintenance. You will perform repairs across carpentry, electrical, and plumbing disciplines and lead vendors to ensure preventive maintenance programs are followed.

Responsibilities include inspections, safety hazard identification, and supporting event setups while maintaining strong safety and teamwork standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 2+ years maintenance and repair experience in warehouse or related area.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn and perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Must be able to work assigned shift schedule, which may include early mornings, evenings, or weekends as business needs require.
• Must be familiar with basic hand & power tools.
• Strong attention to safety, detail, and follow-through in completing assigned tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise maintenance tasks performed on facilities and equipment. Performs complex building repairs using various technical skills (i.e., carpentry, electrical, and plumbing). Assists in maintaining preventive maintenance programs and procedures. Directs work and supervises vendors/technicians who repair and maintain equipment and/or systems. Conducts weekly and monthly building inspections to identify needed repairs and safety hazards.
