Job summary

King & George, LLC is seeking a reliable General Maintenance Worker for our Ft. Gordon facility in Georgia. The role is full-time and pays hourly at $31.98, with duties spanning repairs, cleaning, and preventative maintenance to keep the site safe and functional.

The ideal candidate has prior maintenance experience, basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, and comfortable using hand and electrical tools. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are desired.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a maintenance worker or similar position, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Basic working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Experience working with tools, including hand and electrical tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• General passion for creative problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor fixes, such as ceiling tiles, damage to walls, replacing lightbulbs, etc.
• Install necessary equipment as needed.
• Check system controls and critical systems, logging information as required. Complete minor adjustments as needed.
• Perform necessary cleaning activities, such as dusting, mopping, trash removal, etc.
• Complete regular maintenance tasks, such Preventative Maintenance work request.
• Inspect and troubleshoot various equipment and systems.
• Test the functionality of the facility’s safety systems.
• Report to facilities or maintenance manager regarding issues resolved, those needing attention.
• Other duties as assigned.
