Job summary

St. Paul’s is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to join our team and help keep residents safe, comfortable, and looking its best.

You’ll perform general maintenance, respond to work orders, and assist with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC tasks, working in a hands-on environment under the Trinity Health Senior Communities umbrella. The role requires reliability, willingness to learn, and the ability to handle multiple priorities while using hand and power tools to service

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; HVAC certification preferred but not required.
Previous maintenance or related hands-on experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, or mechanical repairs is helpful.

Responsibilities

Complete general building maintenance and repair work.
Respond to maintenance work orders and troubleshoot problems.
Perform minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical repairs.
Assist with preventative maintenance on building equipment and systems.
Repair doors, hardware, fixtures, furniture, flooring, and other building components.
Help troubleshoot heating and cooling issues.
Perform routine building and equipment inspections.
Work with outside contractors when specialized repairs are needed.
