Job summary

Reliant Care Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support our facility by performing routine maintenance tasks including painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs. You will respond to work orders, conduct inspections, and help ensure safety codes are met while maintaining clean tools and work areas and assisting with after-hours on-call maintenance.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, basic knowledge of facility systems, the ability to lift up

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general maintenance duties including painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
• Respond promptly to work orders and maintenance requests.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Help ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety and building codes.
• Maintain clean and organized maintenance tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Assist with emergency repairs and after‑hours on‑call maintenance as needed.
• Support seasonal tasks such as snow removal, landscaping, and pest control.
