Job summary

Fair Oaks Farms is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Maintenance Department across diverse environments. This Full-Time, non-exempt role reports to the Director of Maintenance and requires friendly performance, strong communication, and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, tool use, cost-saving ideas, and maintaining the campus image. Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working 32–40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must be pleasant with a neat appearance.
• Strong communication skills for dealing with diverse staff.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, twist, lift, and repetitive motion.
• Comfort with ladders and heights; no fear of heights.
• Experience in basic plumbing, carpentry, and electrical skills.

• Assist in equipment and facility cleanliness, functionality, and preventive maintenance.
• Adhere to company standards and service levels; set a positive example.
• Share and implement ideas to minimize utility and maintenance costs.
