Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support and maintain bakery facility systems, ensuring safety and quality standards across multiple areas.

The role requires a technical mindset with the ability to rotate assignments inside and outside the bakery and to pursue ongoing training as technology evolves. The position emphasizes preventive maintenance, heat, cooling, electrical work, and adherence to safety and environmental standards, with a focus on reliability

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in building maintenance or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade certification or diploma a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and safety-minded approach.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot facility/infrastructure systems including boilers, HVAC, and process cooling.
• Perform minor repairs and general maintenance (insulation, plumbing, electrical, lighting, carpentry, painting).
• Maintain vendor relationships for general facility maintenance.
• Oversee building and grounds upkeep including sprinkler and fire suppression systems.
• Utilize SAP for parts checkout, reporting, and data entry.
• Ensure clean, safe work environment and adherence to company policies.
