Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician to service bakery facilities, ensuring safe, reliable operation of boilers, HVAC and related systems.

The role requires hands-on mechanical capability, adaptability to rotate assignments, and ongoing training to keep up with evolving tech and standards. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, minor repairs in plumbing/electrical, managing vendors, and maintaining a safe work environment while following company policies.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in building maintenance or as a technician in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, welding, electrical, industrial equipment, automotive repairs, or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot facility/infrastructure systems including boilers, HVAC, and cooling systems.
• Perform minor facility repairs for insulation, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and carpentry.
• Maintain vendor relationships for general facility maintenance.
• Oversee building and grounds upkeep including sprinkler and fire suppression systems.
• Use SAP for parts checkout, reporting, and data entry.
• Ensure a clean, safe work environment and adhere to company policies.
