Job summary

Wayfair seeks a General Maintenance / Facilities Maintenance team member in McDonough, GA to keep our warehouse operations safe and efficient. You will maintain the building and equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and handle repairs across trades.

The role requires hands-on skills with carpentry, plumbing, painting, and operating warehouse machinery, with a focus on safety and reliability. OT and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• General maintenance and repair experience including carpentry, plumbing or painting.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and basic computer tasks.
• Experience with warehouse equipment such as aerial lifts, order pickers, pallet jacks and forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance and repairs (carpentry, plumbing, painting).
• Conduct preventative maintenance and complete daily logs.
• Operate floor sweeper/scrubber to maintain floors.
• Manage battery changing stations where applicable.
• Follow OSHA and Wayfair safety policies and guidelines.
• Complete work orders and related administrative tasks.
