Wayfair is seeking a Facilities Associate to keep our physical retail location safe, clean and running smoothly. From fixing a leaky faucet to supporting maintenance on equipment, you’ll directly support the comfort and safety of customers and team members.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in facilities maintenance or general building operations (required).
• Retail facilities experience is a plus.
• Ability to work with hand and power tools and read blueprints.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs unassisted.
• Willing to work variable hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Safety minded and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Fix general maintenance needs across plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot facilities issues with minimal supervision.
• Keep store clean using floor sweepers and scrubbers.
• Follow OSHA standards and lockout/tagout procedures for safety.
• Complete daily logs and work orders in paper or digital systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on building systems and safety devices.
• Assist store operations or other duties as needed by management.
