Job summary

Children's Attention Home is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee upkeep of facilities, vehicles, and grounds across locations. You will perform repairs, coordinate with vendors, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical tasks, vehicle maintenance, and ensuring timely issue resolution. A 4-day training on the trauma-informed care model is required within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• General maintenance skills across plumbing, carpentry, painting and minor electrical work.
• Ability to conduct walkthroughs and address issues promptly.
• Willingness to coordinate with vendors and volunteers for maintenance work.

Responsibilities

• Perform general handyman maintenance tasks including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and minor electrical work.
• Conduct regular walkthroughs and address issues promptly.
• Coordinate external vendors and volunteers scheduling and work completion for maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain fleet vehicles through inspections, external service coordination, and preventive care.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and maintain documentation for inspections.
