Job summary

Walmart is hiring Developmental Technicians for General Facilities and Maintenance in Sturgis, MI. You’ll maintain safety, functionality, and aesthetics of stores, equipment, and fixtures under guidance of the Market Manager. Expect inspections, cleaning, and repairs to keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

Full-time role with comprehensive benefits; prior maintenance experience preferred. Driving may be required; training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable with heights and ladders.
• Valid state driver's license and clean driving record.
• Able to read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• All primary responsibilities performed under supervision.
• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets.
• Use work order system to document repairs.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities and diagnose issues.
• Complete required training to operate equipment safely.
