Job summary

The Town of Snowmass Village is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Tech in a full-time seasonal role within the Transportation Department. The person will perform manual labor for cleaning and simple repairs of transit vehicles and facilities, including snow removal and equipment operation.

Facilities Maintenance Technician - Full-Time Seasonal
This is an in-person seasonal position, offering full-time benefits (and year-round insurance for eligible employees!!) until the end of the winter season!
The Town of Snowmass Village is looking to hire a Facility Maintenance Tech to join our Transportation Department!

This is an in-person position

$800 end of the season bonus!

SkiPass or Recreation Benefit in the amount of $1700!

We are looking for a Facilities Maintenance Tech that will perform manual labor in the cleaning and simple repair of the department transit vehicles and facilities around the Town of Snowmass Village. This position is responsible for general cleaning, transport vehicles to shop, recommend purchase of materials, snow removal using hand tools, minor plumbing and mechanical repair and monitoring of cleaning supplies.

Some of the day-to-day duties are listed below:

  • Operate equipment and appliances to clean buses and delivery vehicles to maintain access to the wash bay and delivery docks

Coordinate with the Transit Foreperson on the cleaning of vehicles and the transit depots, bus stops, walkways, elevator,officesand vehicle storage bays

Clear facilities of trash debris

Perform snow removal with hand towels, powered equipment and/or plow truck

Operate heavy equipment using safe judgment in a confined area

Safelyoperateservice vehicles and plowtruckon public roadways

Learn the proper use of motorized and/or mechanical equipment

This position requires the ability to perform the essential functions listed in the job description, with or without reasonable accommodation

Previousexperience of driving a truck or bus is desired;
