SSC Services for Education is hiring for full-time GENERAL LABOR/MAINTENANCE positions at Moore Public Schools, Moore, OK.

The role supports day-to-day upkeep, repairs and operation of facilities; schedule is Monday through Friday; hours may vary; prior maintenance experience required.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with the day-to-day upkeep, maintenance and smooth operation of the building and campus.
• Repairs, maintains and assists in the installation of equipment.
• Provides quality customer service by providing one-on-one attention to detail.
• Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures.
• Performs minor repairs to doors, fixtures and furniture.
• Records information from meters and gauges at specified intervals to verify operating conditions.
• Maks adjustments and minor repairs to HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Monitors building security and safety by locking doors after hours and checking electrical appliance use to prevent hazards.
• Moves heavy furniture, equipment and supplies manually or with hand trucks.
• Notifies managers about major repairs or additions to building systems.
• Removes snow from sidewalks and parking areas.
• Sets up and removes decorations, tables, chairs, ladders for events.
• Ad-hoc cleaning of floors and restrooms.
• Drives vehicles required to perform work.
