Sun Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to keep our restaurant locations safe, functional, and running smoothly. You’ll troubleshoot HVAC and kitchen equipment, perform repairs, and support remodels across multiple casual dining brands.

This fast-paced, field-based role requires independence and a hands-on approach. Expect regional travel up to 90% with mileage reimbursement or a company vehicle.

Formación

• 3+ years of hands-on maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bonus: trade certifications (EPA/HVAC) and bilingual Spanish/English.

Job Summary

Our Facilities Maintenance Technicians are the go-to pros behind the scenes–keeping our restaurants safe, functional, and running smoothly. From troubleshooting HVAC and kitchen equipment to jumping in on remodels and emergency repairs, you’ll play a hands-on role in supporting multiple locations across our casual dining brands. This is a fast-paced, field-based position perfect for a self-starter who loves variety, independence, and the satisfaction of a job well done.

Responsibilities

The Facilities Technician is responsible for performing day-to-day maintenance and repairs across multiple restaurant locations, including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and general facility upkeep. This role responds promptly to urgent service requests, minimizing disruptions to restaurant operations while proactively identifying and resolving safety or facility issues before they escalates. The technician meticulously documents all work performed, including the time spent on site and the parts used, to ensure operational transparency and alignment with internal teams. Collaboration is key—this position regularly coordinates with vendors, restaurant managers, and project teams to deliver seamless service and support larger initiatives such as new restaurant openings, equipment installations, and remodels. This role requires frequent travel within the assigned region (up to 90%), with mileage reimbursement or a company vehicle provided.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience—bonus points if you’ve worked in restaurants, retail, or other fast-moving environments
• Strong skills in diagnosing and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general facility systems
• Confidence working with hand tools, power tools, and repair equipment
• Solid time management—you know how to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize without missing a beat
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record (you’ll be on the road often)
• High school diploma or GED required
• Bonus: Trade certifications (like EPA or HVAC) and your own set of tools

Physical Requirements

• Lifting up to 20 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs., for deliveries or equipment
• Frequent pushing, pulling, bending, stretching, and reaching
• Operating registers, computers, calculators, and standard restaurant equipment
• Working in varying environments including hot kitchens, outdoor elements, and cold storage
• Clear verbal and written communication with employees, customers, suppliers, and corporate representatives
• Occasional sitting
