Job summary

The Ohio Adjutant General’s Department seeks a Facility Maintenance Specialist 1 to maintain safe, functional, and mission-ready facilities at Camp Perry Training Site. You will perform routine maintenance, assist with carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC tasks, and maintain records.

Qualifications

Post-secondary training in facilities maintenance technology or comparable program.
At least one year of experience in construction or building maintenance including carpentry, electrical, plumbing and HVAC.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and semi-skilled maintenance on building systems and components.
Assist with plumbing, electrical, carpentry and mechanical tasks.
Support HVAC and mechanical room upkeep through preventive maintenance.
Complete work orders and maintain records.
Operate maintenance tools and equipment safely and effectively.
Use computer-based systems for email, timekeeping, training, and self-service functions.
Respond to urgent maintenance needs and support continuity of operations.
