Job summary

Walmart is seeking a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance and repairs in our Centerville, UT store. You will work under the General Maintenance Manager, following established schedules to keep facilities safe, clean, and fully functional.

The role requires multi-trade skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, MHE), hands-on problem solving, and precise documentation of work orders and maintenance logs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders.
• Able to work at heights and in varying temperatures.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Trade certification and 1 year in plumbing/electrical/MHE or 2 years total.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple crafts (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, MHE) and tools.
• Use the work order system to receive reactive repair work orders and document activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment safely.
