Job summary

Burlington Coat Factory Whse. Corp. is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to keep our facilities safe, functional, and well‑conditioned across multiple sites, including conference rooms and event spaces.

You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and inspections, coordinate site set‑ups, and respond to emergencies. Local travel between Burlington area sites may be required; occasional duties include grounds and exterior tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
• Lift 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Safe use of ladders and scaffolding up to five stories.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on facility equipment and mechanical systems.
• Coordinate conference/event set‑ups and ensure furniture is in good repair.
• Travel between area sites as needed for work requests.
• Respond to emergencies and assist in safety and troubleshooting tasks.
• Support merchandise donation and surplus activities as directed.
