Job summary

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred.
• Two years working experience in facility maintenance.
• Basic understanding of electrical and carpentry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspects buildings and other structures to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions and needed repair using a pre-established check sheet.
• Performs minor electrical maintenance including replacement or repair of fixtures using appropriate tools.
• Performs minor plumbing maintenance including leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing components.
• Performs minor painting, carpentry and masonry work as needed.
• Reconfigures and remounts modular offices to maximize space using tools and equipment.
• Prepares surfaces and paints various structures to preserve materials and maintain safety.
• Clean rooms, halls, lobbies, rest rooms, and other areas; order parts and maintain documents.
• Performs other work-related duties; must be able to work flexible hours.
