Job summary

Cross Street Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Janitor) in Cleveland, OH to perform general cleaning, housekeeping, and light maintenance of common areas, pools, locker rooms, and events spaces, reporting to the Facilities Manager.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, restroom sanitation, restocking supplies, safety monitoring, replacing bulbs, waste handling, and snow removal. Requires 1–2 years janitorial experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ janitorial experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Certifications/licenses as required by local/state.
• Proficiency with Yardi and Outlook.
• Detail-oriented and a motivated self-starter.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and spoken communication.
• Computer literacy and familiarity with automated systems.
• Reliable with good attendance.
• Ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders.
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Vacuum carpet and spot clean as assigned.
• Clean and dust furniture, blinds, and surfaces; monitor interior plants.
• Service, clean, disinfect restrooms and restock supplies.
• Waste removal and proper disposal of waste and recycling.
• Notify managers about major repairs or safety hazards.
• Replace lightbulbs inside and outside the property.
• Follow safety procedures with cleaners and equipment.
• Monitor building security and lock doors after hours.
• Assist in events setup.
• Record supply inventory.
• Shoveling and snow removal when needed.
• Adhere to company policies and safety regulations.
• Attend meetings and share best practices.
• Assist in moving abandoned items.
