Job summary

LB&B Associates Inc. is seeking a General Maintenance Worker for a contract in Concord, NH (Federal Building). Working schedule for this position: Monday through Friday / 8:30am-5:00pm.

Hourly pay rate $30.90 per hour. Effective 11/1/2026 hourly pay rate will be $31.83 per hour per the collective bargaining agreement. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of four years' experience performing general maintenance and repair of equipment requiring skill in painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry,

Qualifications

• Minimum four years' experience in general maintenance and repair.
• Experience in painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry and electrical work.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Replace electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures and motors.
• Patch holes and cracks in walls and ceilings with plaster or compound.
• Repair or replace sinks, water coolers and toilets.
• Paint floors, steps and sidewalks.
• Replace damaged paneling and floor tiles.
• Hang doors and install locks.
• Replace broken window panes and perform general equipment maintenance.

Qualified candidates must have a minimum of (4) years' experience performing general maintenance and repair of equipment requiring practical skill and knowledge in such trades as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following:

• Replacing electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors.
• Using plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings.
• Repairing or replacing sinks, water coolers, and toilets.
• Painting floors, steps, and sidewalks.
• Replacing damaged paneling and floors tiles.
• Hanging doors and installing locks.
• Replacing broken window panes and performing general maintenance on equipment and machinery.

Experience in commercial HVAC repair and maintenance of mechanical building systems including PM's, routine service calls and overall facility maintenance highly desired.

High School Diploma/GED required.
