Job summary

Harboroaks in Indianapolis is seeking a maintenance technician to perform routine and specialized upkeep across the facility. You will repair plumbing, carpentry, painting and mechanical equipment, while ensuring safe tool use and following preventative maintenance schedules.

Requirements include a high school diploma and experience in maintenance or facility operations; a valid Indiana driver's license is preferred. The role includes back-up for emergency calls and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in maintenance or facility operations required.
• Knowledge of standard practices, procedures and tools in the general building/maintenance trades preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair to facility and equipment.
• Back-up for call person in case of emergency, respond timely and appropriately.
• Operate hand and power tools safely.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedule and complete reports as requested.
• Inspect and maintain emergency power equipment, test/generator weekly and fire alarm systems.
• Inspect and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures, repair furnishings as needed.
