Job summary

Arizona Humane Society in Phoenix seeks a Maintenance Technician to support the Facilities team at multiple campuses, with a Monday–Friday schedule 7:30 AM–4:00 PM and occasional weekend availability.

You will maintain and repair plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and related systems and help with preventive maintenance. A high school diploma, 2 years in maintenance, valid license, and ability to pass screenings are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years in building maintenance or repair.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass driving, drug and background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair plumbing, heating, cooling, electrical systems.
• Keep facilities safe and comfortable for animals, public, and staff.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
• Assist with preventative facilities maintenance across multiple sites.
• Occasional after-hours emergency assistance may be required.
