Job summary

Frederick Health is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for a full-time dayshift position. Primary duties include preventive maintenance, diagnostic repairs, and coordination with contractors to keep health system facilities and grounds functioning safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities cover building systems, plumbing, electrical, drywall, doors and safety features, with strong emphasis on communication and teamwork within Facilities Management.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of troubleshooting, diagnosing, installation, repair and maintenance of a wide variety of building system functions.
• Familiarity with CMMS for PMs, repairs, projects and documenting activities.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform Preventive Maintenance, Repair and contractor coordination for facilities.
• Maintain walls, ceilings, plumbing and general building systems.
• Support Facilities Management with inspections and repairs.
• Communicate effectively with staff and customers.
