Job summary

WestCare Foundation is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Kentucky to perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and minor upgrades across facilities. You will handle painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and related tasks while documenting services and coordinating with teams.

The role emphasizes collaboration, reliability, and safety. A high school diploma or vocational training is preferred, along with a valid driver’s license for occasional travel between locations.

Qualifications

• At least three years of maintenance technician experience or similar role.
• Ability to work collaboratively and professionally with others.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willing to pursue new projects and improve WestCare services.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on grounds and interior/exterior of the facility.
• Document services rendered on provided forms promptly.
• Conduct preventive and ongoing maintenance of equipment and tools.
• Assist with construction and renovation tasks as needed.
• Occasionally provide pickup, delivery, and transportation services.
• Record and log tools, equipment, and supplies used.
• Participate in sanitation and light cleaning duties.
• Support other WestCare staff to uphold a professional image.
