Job summary

Foxdale Village in State College, PA, is hiring a full-time Maintenance Specialist to join our dedicated maintenance team. The role focuses on maintaining heating and cooling systems, appliances, and various other building systems, with a rotating weekend/holiday schedule.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: 3–5 years in maintenance for commercial or residential buildings preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural plans or schematic drawings is preferred.
• Language: Must communicate effectively in English.
• On-site training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Check and maintain heating and cooling systems in community buildings and apartments.
• Repair appliances as needed and maintain communications and sensor systems.
• Maintain natural gas lines and test sprinkler systems for leaks.
• Monitor hot water temperatures and dishwasher temperatures.
• Assist with therapy pool maintenance and grounds tasks as needed.
• Use electronic work orders to complete tasks in a timely manner.
