Job summary

Pioneer Bank, National Association is seeking a Facilities/Maintenance Technician in Albany, NY. This full-time role supports the Headquarters and branch properties with hands-on maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of equipment and facilities.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma, 5 years of commercial property maintenance experience, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and operate common power tools. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 5 years commercial property maintenance experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 to 75 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders up to 22 feet.
• Ability to operate basic power tools such as drills, reciprocating and circular saws, shop vacuums, etc.
• Must have reliable transportation and pass NYS DMV driving record check.

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance across the Headquarters, branch offices, and managed real estate locations.
• Repairs plumbing, electrical, low voltage cabling, carpentry, masonry, drywall, flooring, painting, HVAC systems, and banking equipment.
• Operates light equipment and power tools for landscaping, groundskeeping and snow removal.
• Inspects, cleans and tests bank equipment and fixtures for proper operation and appearance.
• Performs property preservation tasks to REO & MIP properties as needed.
