Job summary

Lumber Specialties, a Division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, is seeking a dedicated janitor to perform daily housekeeping across multiple facilities in Iowa and Illinois. Responsibilities include cleaning interior and exterior areas, heavy cleaning duties, and assisting with minor building maintenance tasks to ensure a safe, orderly environment.

The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of commercial housekeeping experience, and strong time management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required (preferred).
• 1-3 years of commercial housekeeping and building maintenance experience encouraged.
• Solid basic math skills and ability to read English instructions.

Responsibilities

• Keep interior and exterior of buildings clean and orderly.
• Perform heavy cleaning duties (floors, walls, restrooms).
• Inspect and repair minor problems with plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
• Move equipment and supplies using hand trucks or by hand.
• Set up, arrange and remove decorations for events and meetings.
• Notify management about major repairs or supply needs.
• Finish and inspect work to meet quality standards.
