Job summary

American Dream is seeking an Operations Maintenance Technician responsible for keeping all areas of the facility in good repair, performing carpentry work on doors and hardware, plumbing repairs, landscaping, and snow removal. The role requires working outdoors in all weather, rotating shifts, and delivering exceptional guest service.

Ideal candidates will have 1–3 years in building maintenance, carpentry expertise, and a vocational education in a related field.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a trade or vocational school preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1–3 years in building maintenance required.
• Strong carpentry skills including doors and hardware.
• Tile repair/installation knowledge helpful.
• Able to operate aerial lifts to 35 ft.
• Experience with outdoor maintenance equipment (tractors, mowers).
• Work variable shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all areas of the facility interior and exterior.
• Perform carpentry work in designated areas, especially doors and hardware.
• Conduct plumbing repairs and clear drain stoppages.
• Ensure safety of the work area and surrounding areas.
• Perform landscape maintenance (mowing, trimming, watering).
• Snow removal using tractor, snow blower or shovel.
• Clean exterior areas with power washers and dispose waste properly.
• Paint walls in communal areas and service corridors.
• Assist maintenance team and other departments as needed.
• Provide outstanding internal and external guest service.
