Job summary

Qualifications

• One year experience in general building maintenance.
• Knowledge of basic construction and routine maintenance tasks.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled workers with repair and maintenance of district facilities, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing and painting tasks.
• Inspect building interiors and exteriors, playgrounds and grounds and perform minor repairs.
• Report major repair needs and assist with work orders under supervision.
• Support with moving and installing furniture and equipment as needed.
• Maintain safety procedures and keep tools in good condition.
