Responsibilities

• Inspect structural components of buildings, including roofs, doors, walls, windows, ceilings and floors.
• Perform seasonal inspections of resident rooms and correct deficiencies.
• Respond to repair requests, troubleshoot problems and perform interior/exterior repairs.
• Assist with renovations and remodeling using hand and power tools; install drywall, paint preparation and painting.
• Fit, install, and maintain door and window hardware.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment; prepare requisitions for materials.
• Ensure safety and readiness of work areas; rotate on-call duties as needed.
