US Foods in Spokane, WA is seeking a Building Maintenance Mechanic to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on warehouse equipment including HVAC systems, sprinkler lines, electrical, plumbing, and racking.

The role offers a base hourly rate between $29.90 and $33.23, health benefits, vacation, and other perks. Schedule is 8:00am to 4:30pm, with a strong safety culture and opportunities for training.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of equipment repair and operation; able to repair and overhaul warehouse equipment; welding ability; able to read and write legibly; able to follow orders; basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide); able to work with little direct supervision

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain warehouse equipment including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, walls, carpentry, and PMs on condensers and evaporators.
• Review equipment reports and log repairs per USF policy.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and maintain PM logs.
• Comply with safety guidelines (Lock Out/Tag Out, placarding, safe work environment).
• Maintain and secure battery-charging area and tools.
