Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our facilities safe, functional, and efficient. This on-site role supports office, warehouse, and operations, with a focus on hands-on repairs, inspections, and coordinating with vendors.

You will work 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday / 2 PM- 10:30 PM, ensuring building systems run smoothly and safety standards are met. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance, operations, or a related field.
• Experience performing basic repairs in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or general building systems.
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Valid driver's license (if required for the position).
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including climbing ladders, bending, reaching, and kneeling.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
• Conduct routine facility inspections to identify safety or maintenance issues.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance and repair work with vendors and contractors.
• Respond to employee service requests and resolve facility-related issues.
• Support office moves, furniture setup, and workspace reconfigurations.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Assist with emergency preparedness activities, including building safety procedures.
• Maintain records of maintenance work, service requests, and vendor activities.
• Ensure facility operations comply with safety standards and company policies.
• Partner with internal teams to support operational needs and workplace projects.
