Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift in New York, NY. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years in a commercial property setting. Valid driver’s license and ability to work on-site are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting.
• Technical, vocational or on-the-job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, painting, plumbing, carpentry or engine repair.

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical devices.
• Clean, lubricate and service pumps, valves and pneumatic controls.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Replace and repair finishes such as ceiling tiles and door hardware; paint walls and piping as needed.
• Inspect facilities for unsafe conditions and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain fire and life safety systems as assigned.
• Perform carpentry and snow removal when necessary.
