Job summary

Coastal Companies, LLC is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance across multiple client sites in Warwick and Westerly, RI. You will handle light plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, concrete, asphalt, and carpentry; troubleshoot systems; respond to work orders; inspect properties; and stay organized while lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of general maintenance or facilities experience.
• Experience using hand tools.
• Experience with concrete and asphalt.
• Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot independently and stay organized on the job.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working indoors/outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks across client sites (light plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting).
• Handle concrete, asphalt, carpentry, and routine repairs.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility systems.
• Respond to work orders and emergency calls.
• Conduct property inspections and identify issues.
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment.
• Communicate with team, supervisors, and clients as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and company guidelines.

Pay: $25-$30/hr based on experience
Location: Working between Warwick and Westerly, RI
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Perform general maintenance tasks, including light plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, concrete, asphalt, and carpentry
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility systems across multiple client sites
• Respond to work orders, emergency calls, and routine maintenance requests
• Conduct property inspections and identify safety or maintenance issues
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment in good working order
• Communicate clearly with team members, supervisors, and sometimes clients
• Follow safety protocols and company guidelines
• Have 2+ years of general maintenance or facilities experience
• Have experience using hand tools
• Have experience with concrete and asphalt
• Understand basic HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Can troubleshoot independently and stay organized on the job
• Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Are comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working indoors/outdoors
• Are reliable, safety-minded, and willing to learn new skills
