Job summary

Izzio Artisan Bakery in Thornton, Colorado is seeking a reliable Facility Technician to help operate and maintain our baking facility. You will support the maintenance department with day-to-day tasks to keep the plant running safely and efficiently.

You will handle preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment, coordinate with vendors, and ensure a clean, safe work environment. We value craftsmanship, teamwork, and reliability in our fast-growing artisan bakery.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance or related field.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing.
• Ability to operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions.
• English required, bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients.
• Ensure reliability and performance of facilities assets.
• Perform maintenance on facilities assets, including preventative/predictive maintenance and repairs.
• Coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas.

Summary

We're seeking a reliable and skilled Facility Technician to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our building environment. Facilities Technicians work within the maintenance department. They are responsible for maintenance related duties on assets related to facilities. They work with the entire maintenance team to help the department achieve its goals and ensure good plant performance including providing a safe and clean work environment.

Facilities Maintenance

• Provide an exceptional level of customer service to the clients
• Reliability and performance of all assets related to facilities
• Performing maintenance related duties on facilities related assets including, but not limited to, preventative/predictive maintenance, repairs, breakdown response, etc.
• Coordinating with vendors as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of your work areas
• All other duties as assigned
• Assets covered are building, electrical, drains, HVAC, compressed air, etc.

Safety and Compliance

• Following all department and plant policies
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
• Conduct regular safety checks of equipment and systems
• Assist in maintaining accurate maintenance records and logs

Requirements

Qualifications

• Experience: 2 of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field

Skills
