TKC Holdings, Inc. (including Courtesy Products and Trinity/Keefe Group) seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain the corporate office and warehouse facilities.

You will perform preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and warehouse support as part of the Corporate Services Team. You will work on-site reporting to the Asset Supervisor, with responsibilities spanning contractor coordination, safety compliance, and workplace improvements.

Formación

  • High school diploma or GED, or 2+ years of related experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in commercial/buildings maintenance or related field.
  • Experience troubleshooting and performing general building repairs.
  • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, lighting, drywall, painting, and preventative maintenance.
  • Operate standard hand and power tools safely.

Responsabilidades

  • Perform routine building inspections, facility rounds, and preventative maintenance activities.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building systems and assets (lighting, plumbing, doors, ceilings, drywall, flooring, furniture).
  • Complete general maintenance tasks (drywall, painting, minor plumbing, lighting, furniture assembly).
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of office, warehouse, storage, and exterior areas; assist with window cleaning and trash removal.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for on-site work.
  • Track and document preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs, and project activities.
  • Assist with shipping/receiving, package distribution, and inventory movement.
  • Respond promptly to facility service requests and employee maintenance needs.
  • Operate forklift, pallet jacks, ladders, lifts, safely.
  • Participate in Safety Committee and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
  • Support office moves, furniture installations, workstation setups, and special projects.
  • Help with warehouse reorganization, storage optimization, inventory consolidation, and workspace improvements.
  • Maintain warehouse aisles, storage areas, and equipment per safety standards.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and communicate with management.

About This Position

The Facilities Maintenance Technician maintains the safety, appearance, functionality, and overall operation of the corporate office and warehouse facilities. As a member of the Corporate Services Team, you will perform preventative maintenance, building repairs, facility inspections, warehouse support, and general upkeep of company property.

You will work onsite. You will report to the Asset Supervisor.

You will be a hands-on maintenance resource while supporting facility operations, contractor coordination, warehouse organization, storage optimization, and workplace safety projects. The Facilities Maintenance Technician also participates on the Safety Committee and contributes to emergency preparedness activities.

Essential Functions/Main Responsibilities
  • Perform routine building inspections, facility rounds, and preventative maintenance activities.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building systems and assets, including lighting, plumbing, doors, ceilings, drywall, flooring, furniture, and other basic electrical components.
  • Complete general maintenance tasks including drywall repair, painting, minor plumbing repairs, lighting repairs, furniture assembly and repair, and other building repairs.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and appearance of office, warehouse, storage, and exterior areas, including window cleaning and trash removal.
  • Coordinate and assist vendors and contractors performing on-site work.
  • Track and document preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs, and project activities.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving activities, package distribution, inventory movement.
  • Respond to facility service requests and employee maintenance needs promptly.
  • Operate forklift, pallet jacks, ladders, lifts, and other equipment safely.
  • Participate in Safety Committee activities and maintain compliance with company safety procedures and facility standards.
  • Support office moves, furniture installations, workstation setup, and special projects.
  • Help with warehouse reorganization projects, including storage optimization, inventory consolidation, material movement, and workspace improvements.
  • Maintain warehouse aisles, storage areas, and equipment observing company safety standards and housekeeping requirements.
  • Identify maintenance, housekeeping, and workspace improvement opportunities and address or communicate them with management.
  • Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.
What You'll Need
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two or more years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two or more years of experience in commercial building maintenance, facilities maintenance, property maintenance, or related field.
  • Experience troubleshooting and performing general building repairs.
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, lighting, drywall, painting, and preventative maintenance practices.
  • Operate standard hand and power tools safely.
  • Manage changing priorities.
  • Identify opportunities for workplace organization and process improvement.
  • Maintain warehouse, storage, and work areas.
  • Take initiative on assigned responsibilities, and complete work thoroughly.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Commercial office and warehouse maintenance experience.
  • Experience working with vendors and contractors.
  • Experience performing preventative maintenance programs.
  • Familiarity with basic HVAC systems and building automation troubleshooting.
  • Forklift certification, or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 70 pounds.
  • Remain active for extended periods throughout the day.
  • Work from a lift or ladder in office, warehouse, or outdoor environments.
  • Office and warehouse environment with occasional exposure to temperature extremes.
  • Noise levels range from normal office settings to moderate operations.
