Job summary

CLARE|MATRIX is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician in Santa Monica, CA. This role focuses on general maintenance with emphasis on basic electrical and plumbing repairs, diagnosing, maintaining and repairing buildings and equipment.

You will perform preventative maintenance, coordinate with outside contractors, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and support a fast-paced, mission-driven workplace dedicated to recovery and health.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician.
• A minimum of one year sobriety if in recovery.
• Reliable access to a personal vehicle is required to perform the essential job duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance around the facility and repairs to structure, doors or walls.
• Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry issues.
• Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized repairs when necessary.
• Maintain safety, regulatory compliance and documentation for work orders.
