Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility utility systems, including HVAC, compressed air, water systems, pumps, valves, and associated equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and process-related equipment issues.
• Execute maintenance work orders and document activities using CMMS.
• Conduct routine inspections and identify equipment deficiencies requiring repair or replacement.
• Coordinate and oversee contractors performing maintenance and repair services.
• Follow EHS, GMP, and company procedures.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance documentation.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and other departments to support facility objectives.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; climb ladders and work in mechanical spaces.

This position supports facility operations through preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, equipment inspections, emergency response, and continuous improvement initiatives.**Minimum Level of Job-Related Experience, Knowledge, & Technical Skills Required*** Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility utility systems, including HVAC, compressed air, water systems, pumps, valves, and associated equipment.* Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and process-related equipment issues.* Execute maintenance work orders and document activities using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).* Conduct routine inspections and identify equipment deficiencies requiring repair or replacement.* Support maintenance activities on manufacturing and process equipment as required.* Coordinate and oversee contractors performing maintenance and repair services.* Follow all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and company procedures.* Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance documentation.* Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and other departments to support facility objectives.* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.* Ability to climb ladders, work in mechanical spaces, and perform physical maintenance activities.Minimum Level of Job-Related Experience required 0-3 year of directly related manufacturing experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industryThe anticipated hourly rate for this position in Maryland is $29.75- $39.67 plus shift differential and annual bonus, when eligible.
