FirstService Residential is seeking a Maintenance Staff Member to ensure mechanical systems and equipment operate properly and to keep common areas clean, disinfected, and aesthetically appealing.

Responsibilities include inspecting floors, reporting issues, performing minor repairs across trades, completing work orders, and maintaining safety. The role offers full-time hours with benefits and a typical Mon-Fri schedule, with compensation of $19.00–$22.00 per hour.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• 2+ years general experience in building trades, repair and maintenance.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Routinely walks floors and inspects for problems, reporting to supervisors.
• Follow safety precautions and maintain safe work environment.
• Paints common areas and touches up areas as needed; advises manager.
• Complete daily work orders and maintain equipment in good condition.
• Perform minor maintenance in carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, flooring and other building repairs.
