Job summary

JLL is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician in O'Fallon, MO to maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems across client facilities. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and on-site repairs to keep buildings safe, functional, and efficient, while supporting the Mobile Engineer Services team.

The role requires hands-on skills, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to work with CMMS (Corrigo Enterprise) and basic BMS systems to document work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of general building repair and maintenance experience.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and climb ladders up to 30 ft.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• Must pass background, drug/alcohol, and MVR screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair work orders on facility systems and components.
• Conduct inspections and report conditions impacting occupancy and operations.
• Interior maintenance including painting, drywall patching, and furniture repairs.
• Replace lighting, clean HVAC coils, change filters and belts.
• Complete hazard assessments and ensure safety compliance.
• Submit receipts and update work orders in CMMS (Corrigo Enterprise).
• Support maintenance of BMS and Card Access systems.

Facilities Maintenance Technician – JLL

In this hands‑on position, you'll perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs across mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems while supporting our Mobile Engineer Services team. Your work will directly impact facility operations and client satisfaction by ensuring buildings remain safe, functional, and efficient. What your day‑to‑day will look like:

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair work orders on facility systems, equipment, and components
• Execute facility inspections and report on conditions impacting client occupancy and operations
• Conduct general interior maintenance including painting, drywall patching, furniture repairs, and door maintenance
• Replace lighting and ballasts, clean HVAC coils, change filters and belts to maintain optimal system performance
• Complete Hazard Assessments for all maintenance activities while maintaining compliance with safety procedures
• Submit P-card receipts daily and update work order status in real‑time using CMMS systems such as Corrigo Enterprise
• Support maintenance of BMS and Card Access systems for building operations

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical work
• Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and climb up to 30 ft ladders safely
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction and teamwork
• Must pass background, drug/alcohol, and MVR screening process

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CMMS systems and computerized maintenance management
• Trade school certification in electrical, HVAC, or mechanical systems
• Knowledge of BMS and Card Access system maintenance and troubleshooting
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and scheduling
• OSHA safety certifications and specialized training
• Understanding of building codes, compliance requirements, and energy efficiency practices
• Experience with mobile maintenance operations and multi‑site assignments
