Job summary

DCD Automotive/Nucar is seeking experienced Facilities Management Techs in Norwood, MA. The ideal candidate must be outgoing, enthusiastic, self-motivated, punctual and personable to support our network of locations.

You will perform maintenance, review construction plans, troubleshoot equipment, and handle preventative tasks. A High School Diploma and 2 years of trade experience are required; HVAC, carpentry, or electrical experience is a plus. A valid driver's license is also required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of specified trade experience.
• HVAC, Carpentry or Electrical experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work assigned by Facilities Management personnel.
• Review plans, specifications for new or ongoing construction projects or renovations.
• Troubleshoot and replace malfunctioning equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance as assigned.
• Lifting and moving materials up to 50 lbs safely.
• Maintain a current and valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Read and comprehend instructions and information, both orally and in writing.
• Communicate effectively.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible to complete all specified maintenance work assigned by Facilities Management personnel.
• Reviews plans, specifications etc. for new or ongoing construction projects or renovations for the company.
• Performs troubleshooting and replacement of malfunctioning equipment.
• Performs preventative maintenance work, as assigned.
• Must be able to solely and safely lift and move materials of up to approximately 50 lbs.
• Is required to maintain a current and valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record as established by the Company's insurance provider.
• Must read and comprehend instructions and information, both orally and in writing.
• Must be able to effectively communicate.

Education and/or experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years specified trade experience.
• HVAC, Carpentry or Electrical experience a plus.
