Job summary

DCD Automotive/Nucar is seeking experienced Facilities Management Techs to support maintenance, renovations, and upgrades across our sites. The ideal candidate is outgoing, punctual, self-motivated and personable, able to read and follow instructions, and communicate effectively with the team and management.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of trade experience; HVAC, carpentry or electrical exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance as assigned by Facilities Management personnel.

DCD Automotive/Nucar is seeking experienced Facilities Management Techs. The ideal candidate must be outgoing, enthusiastic, self-motivated, punctual and personable.

Job Responsibilities

Responsible to complete all specified maintenance work assigned by Facilities Management personnel. Reviews plans, specifications etc. for new or ongoing construction projects or renovations for the company. Performs troubleshooting and replacement of malfunctioning equipment. Performs preventative maintenance work, as assigned. Must be able to solely and safely lift and move materials of up to approximately 50 lbs. Is required to maintain a current and valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record as established by the Company's insurance provider. Must read and comprehend instructions and information, both orally and in writing. Must be able to effectively communicate.

Education And/or Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent. 2 years specified trade experience. HVAC, Carpentry or Electrical experience a plus.
