Job summary

Kaw Nation is seeking a Maintenance Worker to help keep all Kaw Nation buildings in good repair. The role involves painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical tasks, plus driving a vehicle for routine duties.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of lawn care, plumbing, and carpentry, along with a valid Oklahoma driver license and the ability to pass a drug test. Heavy lifting may be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of lawn care, plumbing, and carpentry is required.
• Valid Oklahoma Driver License and ability to pass a drug test are required.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Keep furniture, fixtures, and buildings in good repair.
• Perform painting, carpentry, maintenance duties, and minor repairs to mechanical equipment.
• Drive a vehicle as part of the role.
• Provide carpentry work and paint surfaces as directed.
• Attend to plumbing, sewer, heating, air conditioning, and roof repairs.
• Mend office furniture and report to Maintenance Supervisor.
• Perform other maintenance duties as assigned.
