Job summary

Kaw Nation seeks a DRIVER/ADMINISTRATIVE JANITOR to maintain two facilities, assist with meal delivery for elderly and child care sites, and perform a range of cleaning and minor repair tasks under Title VI supervision. The role supports daily operations and requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Pre-employment drug screen is required for new hires. This position is based on-site with responsibilities spanning housekeeping, supplies management, and basic facility

Qualifications

• Requires a valid driver’s license and must be insurable.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Must have the ability to keep two (2) buildings clean and in an orderly manner.

Responsibilities

• Deliver meals to elderly and child care facility as needed.
• Provide supportive services for elderly.
• Maintain Title VI program facilities.
• Picks up food supplies and other needed items.
• Keep daily records of units of service.
• Keep daily records of cleaning duties.
• Perform minor repairs.
• Ensure assigned areas are cleaned, dusted, vacuumed, and trash is emptied.
• Wash windows inside and out on a periodic schedule.
• Ensure janitorial supplies are replenished.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms and stock supplies.
• Mop, sweep, and wax floors as needed.
• Water grass, trees, and flowers; weed as needed.
• Clean air vents as required.
• Vacuum carpeted areas and treat spots.
• Polish parking lot of debris.
• Report problems to supervisor and assist with other duties.
